round robin photo challenge

Teena, author of the blog, "It's all about me!" has chosen "Friendship" for our next challenge topic. Do you have a best friend in all the world? Take their photo, and share a little about what makes them so special to you. Do you love yellow roses? The yellow rose indicates friendship, arrange some in a vase, or photograph them right from your yard, and make that your entry. Maybe your best friend is of the four pawed variety... of course you can share a picture of your favorite pet, who just also happens to be your best friend.

this is the first photo that popped in my mind when reading about the current rr challenge....my precious lil granddaughter strolling hand in hand with my sis' grandson...to me, this just screams friendship.  :)

of course, i couldn't end there....i have to mention my best friends....starting with hubby...no i didn't take this one, but it's one of my favorite pics of him...taken on our honeymoon nearly 3 years ago....

and then, it wouldn't be fair not to mention my sisters who have grieved and rejoiced with me at different periods in my life....

don't know what i'd do without my mom...she's always been there for me, offering her support, encouragement and prayers....

and last but certainly not least is my little girl...all grown up now with a child of her own...we've always been close and shared so much...she is very, very special...just ask anyone.  :)

Those are great photos. The grandchildren picture is precious. I think all you ladies look a lot alike. Every one of you are beautiful. Helen

These are all wonderful photos and fit the theme very well...especially after hearing the explanations of them.  The first shot is a classic composition dealing with youthful friendship that is very well done.

Hi Gina :)

What a great grouping of photos. Lovely all around. :) I really enjoyed seeing all the people who are important to you. :) Makes me smile to think of family, that can be friends as well.

Always, Carly :)

Isn't it great when you can honestly claim family members as your friends? My favorite shot here is of the two kids, but the one of your sisters is great too.
