crockett park

i resigned my position the first of july with the intent of taking the summer off.  i had plans on getting out with my camera and taking some great shots...well the summer has quickly passed, and while i did work a couple of days a week, i have no idea where the time went.  i sure didn't do what i wanted to with my camera and photography.  here it is fall, and i need a job...have something promising with the company i'm still with...but it hasn't come through yet...and did get out with my camera a couple of times, but it's all things i've shot before....i really need some motivation to get out of this slump...something to stir my creative side.  oh well...maybe this job will work out and i'll know something this week.  here are a few pix i took a couple of weeks ago at crockett state park, lawrenceburg, tn.

below are some taken recently at the pumpkin patch...

Gina,

Sometimes...we all need a break from even things we love.

Your photography skills are there.
Sometimes, I feel the way you do about photography. I have done that, over and over.
Try a new prespective on your work. Lie down and shoot up. Shoot from an angle that is not expected.
You definitely have the talent!

I enjoy your work very much.

Hope the job you want works out.

Always love your photos, Gina.  This time, my faves are the path and the kids in the hay.

Don't give up...you're so good!

Slump?  Nah, just a little break.   The Good Lord knows you needed it after that last two years you put in in L'burg!     These pics are yet again beautifully shot and shows your eye for the picturesque.    Great shots of the kids and Bee, too.

I know exactly what you are talking about with the time escaping from you.  I too had such grand plans for my camera this summer, but apparently we share a calendar that flips pages all too quickly.  Love the bee shot by the way!
