joe wheeler state park

yesterday hubby and i went to one of the nearby state parks...he takes his guitar and i take my camera....i like having him tag along...sometimes he'll even take a camera!  :)

today i had to drive to nashville for a meeting.  my boss had asked me to be on a cqi committee....how do you tell your boss no??  as it turns out, it is interesting, and i'm learning a few things.  the worse part is that for an hour meeting, its a 3 hour round trip drive!  lots of time for reflection and mediation....and radio!  i mostly listen to a couple of local contemporary christian stations...some of those songs are really annointed!

i had planned on going to the clinic after the meeting, but my daughter had called.  they were taking the baby to the er....so i head straight to the hospital.  by the time i get there, they had completed all the tests, had given him advil and tylenol and he was feeling some better.  he got an antibiotic injection and was released.  sure is hard to see your lil ones under the weather.  i had gone by their house and picked up his paci and his favorite bear and blanket...he was more glad to see that blanket than me!  lol  i'm just glad he's home and feeling better.

time for me to hit the hay...lots of catch up work to do tomorrow.  hope everyone has a great tuesday.

poor baby; it is always sad to see a little one not feeling good; they don't understand what is going on. Hey, my husband plays guitar too :)

State Parks are an often times overlooked bounty of photographic oportunity.  Sounds like you had a fun time at Joe Wheeler.  Thanks for visiting my journal, I'm looking forward to getting to know my way around here.

The parks are beautiful and will be getting prettier soon!  Glad the little one is feeling better...it's scarey when they're sick.

Glad they got something done for the little one. Hope he feels better soon. I loved all your pictures. It appears that you may live in AL also. Thanks for coming by my journal and leaving a comment. Helen

I just love looking at your Photos. I could almost hear your hubby playing guitar in the background. How blessed you are to live in such a beautiful place. I am also glad to hear that baby is okay. Bam
